Duplicate & Replacement Passport Or Certificate,

Passport Or Certificate Changes & Cancellation

Section 1

        Duplicate Passport or Certificate

A duplicate passport or certificate of registration may be issued if the registered owner files a statutory declaration showing, in a satisfactory manner, that the original passport or certificate is lost and pays the prescribes fee. After approval, a duplicate passport or certificate, so marked, will be issued to the recorded owner of the horse.

        Section 2

        Replacement Passport or Certificate.

A replacement for a passport or certificate of registration that has been torn, mutilated, soiled or otherwise defaced may be issued providing the original passport or certificate is identifiable. The recorded owner must submit the original passport or certificate of registration to the Emirates Arabian Horse Society and pay the prescribed fee.

        Section 3

        Markings and/or Color Changes

The recorded owner may request an amendment to the recorded color or markings of an animal. The identification form will be completed and the necessary changes will be amended in the relevant part of the passport or the original certificate.

        Section 4

        Castration

When a stallion is castrated, the passport or certificate of registration along with a Veterinarian Castration Report indicating the date of castration, and also signed by the recorded owner, must be sent to the Emirates Arabian Horse Society. The passport or certificate will be amended and returned to the recorded owner.

        Section 5

        Death

Upon the death of a registered horse, its passport or certificate of registration along with a Veterinarian Report of Death indicating the date of death, must be sent to the Emirates Arabian Horse Society for recording and cancellation of the documents. Upon request, the canceled passport or certificate will be returned to the recorded owner.
